Group Classes are available year round Rock of Ages Kennel’s temperature controlled indoor/outdoor facility.

Puppy Head start for pups age 10-16 weeks, topics include house/crate training, socialization, behavior problems, No means NO, sit, stay and come, lecture and positive reinforcement techniques, no pinch or choke collars! 6 weeks.

Basic Obedience for dogs 4 months of age and up covers the basic commands of heel, sit, stay, down, up and come when called. We also cover basic behaviors and how to correct them, like jumping up, bolting outdoors, dog aggression etc. Classes run for one hour, once a week for seven weeks.

AKC Canine good citizen class, for dogs who completed basic obedience, a good test to prove your dog can be a good citizen for the community. 6 weeks $120.00 Loris therapy Dog Training class for dogs age 10 months and up.Lecture & training positive-reinforcement based class that covers the skills necessary for a dog / handler team to work safely and confidently in a variety of health care and educational settings. - such as walking on a loose leash, greeting people and other dogs politely, prompt recalls with distractions, and sitting politely for petting and grooming. Specific skills and behaviors necessary for effective therapy work are also covered. Working around medical equipment, loud noises, food, toys, and other distractions. As part of my class you will learn some basic first aid techniques and canine CPR. The class will also include a field trip for a therapy visit. Loris therapy dog training class covers all the skills necessary to pass the Bright & Beautiful therapy Dog evaluation, which is given at the end of the session.
